In this episode I give my 7 best tips for self-care, to take care of ourselves each day.  These are the fundamentals that if you do in a day are sure to make you feel fantastic!

1 Sleep (2:20)

  • Don't bring your phone in your bed 
  • Write down and journal before bed 
  • Turn off the wifi in the house 
  • Make it dark 
  • Keep your room cool 

2 Eat & Drink (5:00)

  • Drink a glass of water first thing 
  • Eating REAL food
  • How does your body react to certain foods
  • Avoids CATS (caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, sugar)

3 Move (7:50)

  • Really exert yourself sometimes

4 Connect (9:26)

  • Eye contact
  • Smile at people
  • Phone old friends

5 Laugh/ Play (10:19)

  • Allow yourself to be childlike again
  • Play with your kids, don’t just watch them
  • Play a board game 
  • Play sports

6 Space (11:50)

  • Meditate
  • Journal
  • Feel your surroundings around you
  • Get rid of the newsfeed 

7 Nature (12:53)

  • Feel the nature around you
  • Ground yourself in nature
